Helen Habtay’s work aims to approach the issue of how body adornment influences the personality of the wearer. The collection takes its starting point in the area of the neck, an essential space of the body, with connotations of eroticism and vulnerability.

The Jewellery depict the relationship between body, technology and adornment. There materials are fused together to become a single unit with the body. The quest of what body adornment in connection with mechanization means became the motive of the work.
